Harry Potter is so underrated sometimes for the writing. Because okay, the prose is fairly simple, but the ideas there and the creations JK Rowling makes are exceptional. She creates real people, not just characters, real men, real women and even, not inc. Voldemort (because he’s the epitome of evil there’s nothing human left), real villains and real heroes. All her characters are independent, free-thinking, real people. They have flaws. They’re strong they’re weak. They’re people, not just figments in a novel.

Wow, I remember watching that scene (the trio outside Hogwarts - right before the epilogue starts) for the first time and just thinking NO NO NO NO NO NO IT’S ALMOST OVER IT’S ALMOST DONE WHY WHY WHY. The way they don’t talk towards the end and they just stand there and THEN THEY ALL HOLD HANDS…
